... up here I'm afraid. Just the usual old...
horses in snow:
(Standing around... looking horsey... like horses do.)
... Nitis in snow:
(Running around... looking silly... like Nitis does.)
and... goold old me!
(Fooling around... acting stupid... like I really shouldn't do.)
Oh, and some frozen windows! That's new, isn't it?!

Clueless dog
... playing in the snow.
I guess he won't make a career as a moose hunting dog... well, unless the moose is already dead, butchered, cut into pieces, processed and stuffed into its own intestine - he'd make a great career as a sausage hunting dog! Not sure what the labor market looks like in that field though.
Cyberspace is amazing
It really is! These were in my mailbox today:
The socks that is, the dog was already here. (Please ignore the mess on the floor.)
So some random sweet person who has never met me made me these because my feet are always cold and I like green. How cool is that?! Nitis looks grumpy...
Because he wasn't allowed to eat them!
I love the pointy front part, elf-style! Someone is definitely better at knitting than I am... :)

-28° in the shade
Or in the sun. I don't know. It's cold. I'm sick of it. We're talking Celcius if anyone was wondering. I don't want to go outside because it's cold. The dog is going insane because we don't go outside. I don't want to go outside because the dog is insane. I'm going insane because the dog doesn't get to go outside.
Well anyway, here are some pictures my sister took of me and my mom and the horses. Having horses is no fun in the winter. You don't want to go outside because it's cold. You can't ride if you don't go outside. You get very cold if you go outside and ride. You carry heavy buckets with warm water several times a day and in twenty minutes they're just ice. The stable door doesn't close properly so it's almost as cold inside as outside. You can't muck out properly because it's all one big frozen pile. You feed the horses much more often because they stay warm if they eat. That means you need to go outside much more often to feed them. You don't want to go outside because it's cold.
